BOARD OF SELECTMEN MEETING

Tuesday, May 25, 2010

7:00 p.m.

The meeting of the Board of Selectmen was held at 7:02 pm in the Sharon Town Hall with Chairman William A. Heitin, Selectman Walter “Joe” Roach, and Selectman Richard A. Powell.

REORGANIZATION OF THE BOARD

VOTED: (Heitin/Powell) Voted to appoint Selectman Roach as Chair for the next fiscal year

VOTED: (Heitin/Roach) Voted to appoint Selectman Powell as Clerk for the next fiscal year

APPOVAL OF MINUTES

VOTED: (Heitin/Powell) Voted unanimously to approve the Regular Session Minutes and Executive Session Minutes of May 11, 2010

APPROVAL OF BANNER REQUEST

VOTED: (Heitin/Powell) Voted unanimously to approve the banner request by the Mass Audubon at Moose Hill for “Moose Hill Camp” from June 8-15, 2010 (2nd position)

Chairman Roach reviewed the Memorial Day celebration schedule.

Selectman Heitin announced that there will be a groundbreaking for the Middle School renovation and addition

this Friday at 10AM at the Sharon Middle School.

VOTED: (Roach/Powell) Voted unanimously to enter into Executive Session for the purpose of discussion

Collective Bargaining, Real Property and Pending Litigation and at the end thereof to adjourn for the evening.

The Board adjourned to Executive Session at 7:10 p.m.
